Who’s got the most Rush Spirit?!
Get loud, get creative, and bring the energy—because the Spirit Award is up for grabs! Twin Cities took the crown in 2024…But can they do it again? Or will YOUR club rise up and steal the spotlight? It’s time to rep your club, rally your squad, and earn those bragging rights!
How to Score Points
Get ready to go all out! Throughout the week, your team will compete in fun, creative, and high-energy challenges to earn SPIRIT POINTS and fight for the legendary Spirit Award. Let’s break it down:
Opening Ceremony Block Party
🎨 Team Poster Contest
Head to the poster station at the block party! You’ll get markers and poster boards to design a team poster. We’ll have the posters up in the classrooms all week; these will be judged on creativity, Rush pride, and team vibes. Points will be awarded to the top 3 teams, Winners announced Thursday!
🧤 REACH Clothing Drive
Bring gently used soccer gear (uniforms, cleats, and soccer balls) to earn points for helping others! The more you bring, the more points you earn!
Classroom Sessions
⚽ Juggling Club Challenge
Pick 3 players from your team! Who can juggle the longest without dropping the ball?
We will be awarding points to the a class winners AND an overall champ!
⚽ Rush Relay Race
Grab 6 teammates (not the same ones from the juggling contest—unless your numbers are small). Spin around, dribble through cones, and score a goal before tagging the next runner. Fastest team wins! We will be awarding points to the a class winners AND an overall champ!
Happening All Week
🎽 Tuesday is Coach Dress-Up Day
Time to turn your coach into a Rush fashion icon! Use spirit gear, accessories, and team creativity. The top three best-dressed coaches will score points for their team! Don’t let them down, coach!
🎽 Jersey Design Contest
Use your imagination to design a one-of-a-kind “Rush Fest” jersey on a paper template! Design stations with markers and shirts will be set up in the classroom. Jerseys will be on display at Parents Night so coaches, staff, and parents can vote for their favorite design. Designs will be due Thursday; the top three jerseys will win points!
🧠 Rush Trivia
Use your brainpower for this one! Look for the QR code during the week to access the quiz. Questions will range from Rush to soccer, even pop culture! Top-scoring team wins big points!
🎥 TikTok Spirit Challenge (on the field!)
Create a fun 10–15 second team video—dance, chant, or a silly challenge! Meet with Josh or Dillon at the Media Tent to record and post your TikTok to @rushsoccer. Points will be awarded for participation, and the TikTok with the most likes will get massive bonus points.
