Rush Soccer and Soaf Group Partner with Sindibad School to Launch First Soccer Club in Morocco

KENITRA, MOROCCO – October 7, 2024

Rush Soccer, the world’s leading youth soccer organization, is proud to announce its partnership with Platini Soaf and Mehdi Soaf to lead Rush Soccer In Morocco, a nation renowned for its rich football heritage. This collaboration marks the establishment of the Morocco Rush Club, a significant milestone in the global expansion of Rush Soccer.

“We are honored to bring the Rush Soccer brand to Morocco, a country with a deep passion for football,” said Tim Schultz, the founder of Rush Soccer. “This partnership is a testament to our commitment to developing youth soccer talent worldwide.”

Leading the Morocco Rush Clubs, and Rush Education Schools in the future, will be the distinguished figure in American soccer, Coach Platini Soaf and his brother Mehdi Soaf. Coach Platini Soaf, a legend in U.S. soccer, has dedicated over three decades to nurturing and developing international players and clubs across the United States. His expertise and vision will be instrumental in overseeing the Morocco Rush program.

“This is a significant step forward for student-athletes in Morocco,” said Coach Platini Soaf. “Our goal is to provide a pathway for young Moroccan players to reach professional levels or to become student-athletes in American universities. We are excited to contribute to their development and success. Under the esteemed patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI and his Royal Football Federation leadership, we are committed to fostering a new generation of soccer talent in Morocco, ensuring they have the best opportunities to excel both on and off the field.”

The Morocco Rush Clubs and Schools aims to create opportunities for young athletes to excel in soccer while pursuing their academic goals. This initiative will pave the way for Moroccan players to achieve their dreams, whether on the professional stage or in higher education. Even the youngest participants will be developed holistically to be the best they can be at a young age, ensuring they grow both as athletes and individuals.

This initiative is made possible through the leadership of the Soaf Group, the support of the USA KELME sports brand group led by Cary Lyu/Platini Soaf, and several other sponsors.
