Rush Soccer to Host Annual Rush Fest in Denver – July 7-12

[New York, NY, June 27, 2024] – Rush Soccer, the largest youth soccer organization in the world, is excited to announce the return of Rush Fest, an eagerly anticipated annual event, to Denver, Colorado, from July 7-12, 2024. This week-long festival of soccer taking place at the Trail Winds Soccer Complex in Thornton, celebrates the transition from 9v9 to full-sided 11v11 games and brings together U12 boys’ and girls’ teams from Rush clubs across the United States and around the world.

Since its inception in 2008 with 12 teams, Rush Fest has grown significantly, with over 48 teams participating each year. This year, Rush Soccer anticipates welcoming approximately 2,500 players, coaches, and families to Denver, making it one of the largest youth soccer gatherings in the world.

The festival offers a dynamic blend of competitive games, training sessions, classroom education, and social events, making it a unique experience for young athletes. Teams compete in morning games organized by skill level, followed by afternoon training sessions that include specialized goalkeeper training and classroom sessions led by top coaches from the Rush family.
One of the highlights of Rush Fest is the camaraderie fostered among players from different Rush clubs during the opening and closing ceremonies. These ceremonies feature festivities where players come together to celebrate, dance, and create lifelong friendships, embodying the Rush Soccer spirit.

“Our annual Rush Fest is a true right of passage in a player’s soccer journey…an unforgettable experience for players, coaches, and families alike,” said Justin Miller, CEO of Rush Soccer. “It’s a celebration of youth soccer development, where players learn, compete, and forge lasting memories. We’re thrilled to bring Rush Fest back to Denver and showcase the vibrant soccer culture that Rush Soccer embodies.”

In addition to player-focused activities, Rush Fest includes a high-level coaching clinic for attending coaches and parent appreciation sessions, ensuring that all participants benefit from the event’s comprehensive approach to soccer development.

With more than 2,500 players and families traveling to Denver for the week, Rush Fest will also provide a boost in the local economy with hotels, rental cars, restaurants, and entertainment. In fact, all players have a day off on Wednesday of Fest to enjoy group discounts at Water World, Denver Ziplines, and Downstream Adventures Whitewater Rafting. Most players and families will also attend the Colorado Rapids game on Sunday, July 7th. Finally, many families are extending their Colorado vacation before and after Rush Fest.

Rush Soccer’s commitment to youth development through sports extends beyond the field, aiming to provide players with an enriching experience that combines athletic growth with personal development.
