Rush Soccer and Altitude Soccer Academies Announce New Partnership

New York — Rush Soccer announced March 7th, 2022 that it will be partnering with the Altitude Soccer Academies program in Port St. Lucie, Florida, creating more pathways for players to succeed in the sport.

With the new partnership, Rush Soccer is excited to bring its top-level male athletes to the facility and begin to create a girls academy that will be added to the existing programming.

“We’re excited about creating a year-round residential academy for all of our Rush players. The Rush is all about creating more opportunities and helping them get to the next level,” Rush CEO and founder Tim Schulz said. “This type of intense training coupled with rigorous academics will give aspiring pro soccer players a chance to take their game to a much higher level.”

The program will remain under the direction of Soccer Hall of Fame coach Ferdinando De Matthaeis, who has led the boys academy at Club Med.

“We believe this collaboration will further enhance what we offer at Altitude Soccer. Combining world-class facilities and coaching with the expertise from Rush Soccer as the world’s premier youth soccer program is a great fit,” Altitude Soccer Academies owner Greg Breunich said.

Breunich, who served as the Senior Vice President and director at IMG Academy, has successfully started five academies with over forty years of experience leading every element in the club, resort, camp, academy, and education business.

Rush plans to manage competitive teams out of the academy for both boys and girls starting in Fall 2022.
