During the October 20, 2011 Annual General meeting, former Colorado Rush standout, Todd Dunivant, was elected to the Rush Soccer Board of Directors. Dunivant, in his 9th year of Major League Soccer, and current member of the LA Galaxy, has had a successful professional career winning two MLS Cups and a Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup Championship. Over the years, Todd has earned the respect of his peers as he was one of four players elected to the Executive Board for the MLS Players Union. “The leadership and professionalism that he brings will be a great addition to an already impressive Rush Soccer BOD. His knowledge of the club and experience that he has gained throughout his career will help shape the future of the club,” said Rush Soccer Technical Director, Andrew Kummer.
Dunivant began his Rush career in 1997 and went on to Stanford University earning a degree in Economics. He was drafted 6th overall in the 2003 MLS SuperDraft by the San Jose Earthquakes and has two appearances with the United States National Team.
