Rush Soccer Supports Honduras
Jair Vásquez, Colorado Rush Director of Coaching-Juniors and Technical Director South America, visited Honduras Rush with the main goal of showing to Honduras Rush support and faith on their project. There is no better way to show how much Rush Soccer supports this project than present our program to the parents and players.
Honduras Rush is led by Elmer Marín and it’s located in Tegucigalpa, capital of the Middle American country. The visit to Honduras also served to analyze the level of the Honduran soccer and identify players who could be considered for an invitation to play with our Academy teams in the United States. Another important goal has been research how Rush Soccer could help to Honduras Rush in the future: providing uniforms, sports equipment, improving their soccer fields, etc. Despite the difficulties, they don’t disrupt the motivation. Quite the opposite, that situation helps them to work even harder.
Jair Vásquez is optimistic about the future of Rush Honduras: “I noticed that the evolution and growth of the club is a reality, and this trip dispelled any doubt about the project,” assures the Technical Director of South America. The Honduran project is moving forward thanks to the spirit and enthusiasm of all its members who are volunteering for the love and passion for soccer.
The visit to Honduras has served to unite friendly ties between Rush Soccer and Rush Honduras. This is the first one of many that Rush Soccer is going to do in the future. The main objective is to visit each club in Latino America.
Great job Honduras Rush!
