Welcome SW VA Rush!
Radford Soccer Club has officially become the Southwest Virginia Rush!
Club President, Kathy Harris officially signed the Licensing & Services Agreement to make this the 34th Rush Club in the US. “For the past 14 years, Radford Soccer Club has committed to providing the best soccer experience that we possibly could do for our club. With our continued growth both from our membership and everything else that comes with that growth, we feel that the affiliation with Rush Soccer is the next step in the evolution of Radford Soccer. The Southwest Virginia Rush will allow us to open even more doors and provide our players a chance to play at all levels. When it came to choosing a club to partner with, choosing the Rush was a no brainer. They have a great track record and we are excited to be part of Rush Nation," claimed Harris.
Servicing the Southwestern part of Virginia and 171 players from U10-U19 + 31 players in pre academy K-3d), Southwest VA Rush, along with new Technical Director, Adam Ritchie (formerly the Technical Director of Maryland Rush) are looking forward to the new partnership. “I am excited to have been chosen to lead the new Southwest VA Rush. Rush has so much to offer all of our players. They will have opportunities that no other club in the area can provide, from the Rush Select program to guest playing with other Rush clubs across the country. This will be a great opportunity for all of the players in the New River Valley and Southwest Virginia.”
"Rush has been in Virginia for over a decade, so the brand is well known. To add a second club in the state and have it led by Adam Richie who is well versed in the Rush Way, is a great addition to the region. We are excited to welcome the new club," said Rush Regional Technical Director Arian Hoxha.
