Mississippi Rush Catch Fire in June
“June 1st was a special day for the 31st member of the Rush family,” said the Technical Director of the Mississippi Rush, Kenny White.
On Sunday, June 1st the former Chicago Fire Juniors of Mississippi soccer club officially became the 31st Rush club in the United States. In grand fashion Mississippi Rush added to the continued excellence of Rush Soccer by capturing Mississippi State Cup titles in six of the eight age groups they had entered.
The Mississippi Rush looks forward to the U13 Girls, U14 Girls, U15 Girls, U15 Boys, U17 Boys, U18 Boys, and the U19 Girls representing Rush Soccer at the USYSA Region III Championships in Baton Rouge, LA. June 20-26.
In addition to continuing its winning ways throughout the state of Mississippi, the Mississippi Rush brought home eight championships regionally in the U.S. Club Soccer - Gulf States Premier League. The Mississippi Rush U13 Boys, U14 Boys, U15 Boys, U17 Boys, U13 Girls, U14 Girls, U16 Girls, and the U18 Girls will compete for U.S. Club’s National Championships in the National Premier League Finals later this summer in Greensboro, N.C.
