Kayla Hill and Sabrina Macias of the Colorado Rush are in Cary, North Carolina this week as they train at the U15 Girls National Team Camp. Both players have been involved with the National Team program before but this marks the final event for this age group before they transition into the U17 age bracket. Macias and Hill look to follow in the footsteps of Colorado Rush products Lindsey Horan (2010) and Morgan Stanton, Lizzy Raben and Gabbi Miranda (2012) who all have played for the U17 National team as those teams worked towards winning the U17 World Cup. Both players are age eligible for the U17 World Cup in 2014 held in Costa Rica.
The U15's camp is being held in conjunction with a U14 camp where fellow Rush player, Kimberly Rodriguez of Texas Rush, will be training.
Good luck to all of the girls at camp this week!
