U13 Rush Fest Kicks Off in VA Beach

The U13 Rush Festival kicked off today in Virginia Beach, Virginia. The Rush Fest is in it's 5th year and this marks the first year the event has been held east of the Mississippi. The U13's will be in Virginia for four days of games, training, classroom sessions and social activities. 

At today's Opening Ceremony, Matt Busch, Director of Coaching Youth, welcomed the crew and previewed the week. "The Virginia Rush staff and myself are looking forward to a great week of games and training with the best club in the nation, and identifying players for a chance to represent the Rush Select Program," said Busch.

Virginia Rush Goalkeeper Coach Tyler Benham got the party started with his 'Rush Champions Rap' (coming to Youtube and National Radio soon!)

Lastly, players from across the country got to meet fellow Rush players and teammates for the week. 

Thursday morning will see the first games (schedule below) and training sessions and the day will end with a sand soccer tournament on Virigina Beach!
