Former NM Rush player scores in his season debut with Chivas USA - Reserves

Former NM Rush player, Ben Spencer (16 years old) scored Sept. 27, 2011 in his debut with Chivas USA - Reserves vs. Portland Timbers - Reserves.  Ben struck his first goal in a Chivas USA jersey in the 67th minute of his debut match.  Eventually Chivas fell to the Timbers 5-1 in Portland.  Click here for full match recap.

What does Ben's move to Chivas USA mean according to NM Rush TD, Justin Sells?  

"The main benefit with Ben's move is it will give him the ability to continue playing in the USSF Academy progam, as well as the opportuntiy to train with and alongside Chivas USA's first team and their staff of professional coaches."   This will be a great way for Ben to continue his soccer development along side some of the best youth and professional players in the United States."
