U14 Rush Fest - Day 2
The U14 Rush Festival took to the fields today in Albuquerque for games and training. Early morning games between the boys saw plenty of goals scored and the U13 Rush Select team proved their all-star status with a decisive win over Virginia Nike.
In the girls games, the home town New Mexico Nike and the U13 Rush Select girls were big winners and will face-off tomorrow in what is sure to be a 'must see'.
In the afternoon, Arkansas Rush Technical Director Matt Mittelstaedt led a classroom presentation on The Rush Way. The evening was capped by an ice-cream social. The event was moved in to a hotel ballroom due to weather but the cramped conditions and high energy of the players and coaches was the perfect environment for an impromptu chant off / dance competition / juggle off.
Saturday games will get underway at 8:45AM at Balloon Fiesta Park. Schedules are below.
