Maryland Rush Captures First State Cup

For the first time since becoming a Rush club, the Maryland Rush are State Cup Champions!
The U18 Maryland Rush Nike boys would come from 1-0 down in the championship game with Bethesda Soccer Club to win 2-1 over the weekend. After Bethesda scored in the opening minutes of the 2nd half off a free kick, the Nike boys would reorganize to control the game and get 2 goals; one from Brian Dingle (Millersville University) the other from Josh Swartz (UMass) to get the lead and the win.
The Nike Premier 92 Boys now qualify for the USYSA Region I tournament held in Pennsylvania starting July 1st.
