Jair Vasquez named Rush South America Technical Director

Jair Vasquez, who joined the Colorado Rush in the fall of 2010, has recently been named as the Technical Director for Rush in South America. With numerous South American countries about to launch Rush clubs, Jair’s experience and skills will be extremely valuable in ensuring this expansion is a success.  
 
Jair was born in Lima, Peru. At the age of 12 he joined one of the most popular clubs in Peru, Universitario de Deportes. Jair became a profesional player at the age of 16. Jair played proffesionaly for 14 years in different clubs and countries such as Club Cienciano (Cuzco-Peru); Union Berlin (Germany); River Plate (Uruguay); Deportivo Zacapa (Guatemala); Pittsburgh Riverhounds (Pennsylvania-USA); Deportivo Municipal (Peru). He was part of the Peruvian National Team U-17, U-20 and U-23. He moved to the USA in December 2003 and worked as a Director of Coaching for ConquistAmerica Soccer Club from April 2006 to February 2010 in Santa Ana , California. Jair holds a USSF B License. He is fluent in English and Spanish and has an extensive network on soccer contacts throughout the continent.
