Brovsky Drafted to Vancouver

(01.13.11) Colorado Rush Alum Jeb Brovsky has been drafted by the expansion Vancouver Whitecaps in the 2011 MLS SuperDraft. Jeb was the first pick in the second round and number 19 overall.

"I am excited for Jeb. All of us here at Colorado Rush are excited for Jeb. He is a true story of what hard work and passion can create. He is a great ambassador for Rush and is a model which many of our players can follow," exclaimed Colorado Rush Technical Director Erik Bushey.

A longtime member of the USL First Division, Vancouver Whitecaps FC, along with the Portland Timbers, will join the MLS this season bringing the number of clubs in Americas top division to 18. Former Rush player Jay Nolly is also currently on the roster for the Whitecaps.
