Rush Select: PDT Day 1

Rain cancelled several afternoon games for Rush Select teams on day number one of the President's Day Tournament in Phoenix today. However, the Rush game of the day was played as the U15 Select took on Pride Predators of Colorado. Rush grabbed an 1-0 lead midway through the first and held the lead until five minutes to play before Pride broke through for the equalizer. With two minutes remaining, Rush got in behind the pride defense drove a cross back across the face of goal and was buried for a 2-1 lead sending the Rush fans packing the stands into a frenzy! Day 2 games are scheduled to take place on a slightly altered schedule due to weather. Click here for scores.

MLS Pros Visit Rush Select XI

Rush Alums and current pros Colin Clark, Evan Nelson and Mike Chabala from the Houston Dynamo and Jeb Brovsky and Jay Nolly from the Vancouver Whitecaps stopped by the Rush Select BBQ tonight to say hey to Rush's best! The guys spoke about their time playing with the Rush, shared stories of hardship getting to the pros and some funny stories about current Rush coaches.
