Rush Alums Search for MLS Cup

Several Rush Alums are competing for the 2012 MLS Cup. Below is a brief glimpse into how they are doing:

Los Angeles Galaxy - Todd Dunivant - The Galaxy beat Vancouver 2-1 in the knockout round. LA are currently down 1-0 to San Jose after a 1-0 loss in the first leg of their semi-final matchup. Leg number two is on Wednesday.

San Jose – Evan Newton – Virginia Rush alum is in his first season with the Western Conference top seed. San Jose is up 1-0 in their two game series with LA.

Houston Dynamo – Colin Clark, Erich Marscheider – Houston beat Chicago in the knockout round 2-1. Beat top East seed Sporting Kansas City 2-0 in leg one of Eastern Conference Semi-finals. Leg 2 is on Wednesday.

NY Red Bulls – Stephen Keel – Drew 1-1 with DC United in leg 1 of Eastern Conference Semis. Second leg is Wednesday.
