2013 All American Girls!

12.11.13 - 2013 All America TeamThe National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) have announced the 2013 Youth Girls All-America team and three Rush players were named All-Americans.

Rebecca Rasmussen, of the U18 Colorado Rush, along with Betsy Brandon and Jordan DiBiasi of the  U17 Colorado Rush team were all named to the prestigious NSCAA All-America team along with other top players in the country. With three players named to the 2013 team, Colorado Rush trail only MVLA (CA) who have 4. 

Becca will be graduating High School early and will enroll at the Univeristy of Georgia in January. "Rebecca is well deserving of this prestigious honor. It is wonderful to see her being recognized for her hard work and dedication over the years," said U18 Head Coach Andrew Kummer.

Betsy and Jordan are HS Juniors and in various stages of the college search process. “I’m happy for Bets and Jordan. They continue to perform at a very high level and are worthy of the recognition. They are two of the best players in the country,” commented Colorado Rush Technical Director and U17 Rush Head Coach Erik Bushey.

All three players have been main-stays in the US Youth National team program and are all currently in the U18 pool. In addition to duties with their club ECNL teams, the girls have also been involved with the Colorado Rush W-League team in previous seasons.

The trio joins an elite list of Colorado Rush players being named to the All-America team and join the quartet of Lizzy Raben, Morgan Stanton, Madi Hall and recently crowned National Champion Gabbi Miranda, who were named to the 2012 team.
