On October 8-9, Idaho Rush CEO Lee Riley brought five teams to Bend, OR for a weekend of games against Oregon Rush and other Oregon premier teams.  If the first game exchange between the two clubs is any indicator, there will be many more weekends like this to come.

“All of our coaches thought that the trip to Bend was well worth it,” stated Riley about his four girls and one boys team that made the trip.  All the Idaho teams played three games over two days against some of Oregon’s top teams.  “It was really refreshing to play teams that we would not normally encounter,” said Riley, “Both the competition and facilities in Oregon were great.”

Oregon Rush Technical Director John O’Sullivan concurred.  “This weekend was a great one for our teams and staff, as we had great weather, got to play some top level out of state competition, and met some great people.  Our staff and parents are already asking us to plan a return trip to Boise in the Spring, and we look forward to returning the favor.”
