Rush Players Shuffle in 2012 Expansion Draft

11.25.11 -_jebbrovskyWith the 2012 addition of the Montreal Impact, the MLS held the standard 'Expansion Draft' where four Rush Alumni were shuffled around.

Jeb Brovsky (pictured) who spent his rookie year with the Vancouver Whitecaps was picked by the expansion Impact. Joining Brovsky will be fellow Colorado Rush alum Collen Warner (Real Salt Lake). Another Rush alum with Colorado ties, Bobby Burling from Rush Pikes Peak is also headed to the Impact. Burling had previously played for San Jose Earthquakes.

Seattle Sounders fan favorite James Riley was picked by Montreal and then subsequently traded for two players from Chivas USA.

One thing is clear, if you are looking to watch Rush alums in action in 2012, look no further than the expansion Impact.
