Alumni logoThe top tiers of American professional soccer are officially underway, with the NWSL kicking off league play last weekend.


Rush Soccer is proud of its alumni playing in the pro ranks and want to share the highlights of the young season:


Danica Evans Debuts

Evans, who came up through Colorado Rush, was drafted by the Orlando Pride in January and made her professional debut in the team’s opening match against the Portland Thorns last Saturday.


Justin Schmidt Represents New Mexico

Schmidt is New Mexico Rush’s first MLS draftee and had his professional debut at center back with Real Salt Lake after a strong showing in preseason.


Paolo DelPiccolo Named Captain

DelPiccolo, Colorado Rush, was named captain of USL side Louisville City FC. The team is currently on top of the USL Eastern Conference.



Kharlton Belmar, Virginia Rush, opened the season with his new team strong, putting in two efforts for the Swope Park Rangers:


Aaron King, Colorado Rush, has scored two goals for Switchbacks FC. King tallied a penalty against Real Monarchs and put this effort away against San Antonio:
