Rush For The Cure

Our Rush players, parents and coaches are amazing, bottom line. If you need proof just check out this album.

Pennsylvania Rush Breast Cancer

A huge number of teams across the nation showed their support for National Breast Cancer Awareness Month this October.  We invite you to read their uplifting stories below, and send your pics to be added to the album! #RushForTheCure

Surely we weren't informed of all the wonderful efforts made, so whether you are featured below or not, THANK YOU TO ALL WHO SHOWED SUPPORT.

Kansas Rush
On October 19th and 20th, all Kansas Rush Soccer Club teams wore pink jerseys while playing league games for cancer awareness and raised funds to donate to Children’s Mercy Hospital cancer program.  Kansas Rush is committed to teaching our young players not only about the love of the game of soccer, but also the importance of community service.  We believe in teaching life skills both on and off the field.  This event teaches our players the importance of giving our time to our local community.  At Kansas Rush, we have individual teams who participate in community service activities, but this gives us the opportunity to show our commitment to community service club wide!

Georgia Rush
This GU15 team is 7-0-0 and their GK is from Michigan Rush, and flies to Atlanta every weekend.

Texas Rush
TX Rush players wore the shirts once per week in training for ECNL teams in the month of October, and in 'pre-game' warm up for all ECNL games in the month of October - 300 + shirts sold associated with the ECNL program!

New Mexico Rush
NM Rush Soccer Club currently has all its competitive players sporting pink jersey's throughout the month of October for its DCSL league matches. All proceeds raised from the teams purchasing the Pink Rush Game Jersey's will be donated to local NM Cancer Foundation.

Pennsylvania Rush
In 2012, Members of PA Rush Soccer's U10 boys and U12 girls team and their supporters used pink practice T-shirts to promote breast cancer awareness. This year they ordered pink socks and the teams practiced with and played a few games with their pink socks on all the funds raised went to Breast Cancer Awareness.

Delaware Rush
Several teams bought pink socks for use at various tournaments over the Columbus Day weekend.

Alaska Rush
AK Rush has shown their support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month for the past 2 years now. Last year they wore pink (socks, underarmor, headbands) during all games in the month of October.  Not only the players wore pink but all coaches and parents showed their support as well. They also made pink ribbons and sold for donations, raising over $450.00 that was donated to a local mammogram clinic for lower income families.  They also dedicated each of our games to a Breast Cancer Survivor and had the survivor attend their dedicated game. This year, players, parents and coaches are supporting Breast Cancer Awareness month by wearing pink at all games.

Colorado Rush
The GU16 team with CO Rush decided to write a Rush core value, Unity, by a breast cancer sign to symbolize the club and to represent all the women and families affected by breast cancer. "We weren't only playing to win that day, we were playing for something bigger." -Zoe Zinis

Maryland Rush
The boys of MRM Rush Academy Blue '03 (U10B) and MRM Rush Academy Blue '02 (U11B) asked to wear pink socks for all their games in the month of October!  It was a great success!

Thanks to our wonderful sponsors for supporting our programs!
